My name is Stecy I. I am a 10 years old girl and I am going to attend the 4th grade class this year. Since I started school, every year as we approach the back to school I am always worried because I don’t know if I will be registered. My mother told me that my father left home for a long time. We don’t know where he is. In order to take care of us, my mother sells grilled peanuts and cassava on the side of the road, but she doesn’t sell much. I help her from time to time when I'm not at school because it’s what she earns that allows us to survive and maybe will help me go to school again this year.
