Starting of the project "Christmas party for OVC in Cote d'Ivoire".

Engaged For Children is starting the project named "Reward for academic merit and Christmas party for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in the municipality of Kpouebo in Cote d'Ivoire", West african country.

The project, which targets 350 children (boys and girls), aims to organize an award ceremony for the best students of primary schools and the OVC in the Kpouebo region. The ceremony will be a Christmas party for the children, with the majority comes from vulnerable families that generally experience financial difficulties for offering gifts to their children at the Christmas period.

The specific objectives of the project are:

  • Raise awareness among households for schooling of children;
  • Encourage excellence and success in school;
  • Mobilize the community around schools;
  • Provide an opportunity for motivation and personal development of children.
