Opening of the first Integrated Multimedia Library (IML) room at the Gitaba primary school in Burundi

Thanks to the financial support of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the generous material support of The King's School - Burundi, Engaged For Children has installed the first multimedia library room at Gitaba Public Primary School in Rutana Province, Burundi, within the framework of the Integrated Multimedia Libraries (IML) program.

The installation and opening ceremony of the multimedia library room was held on Friday, October 7, 2022 in the presence of the representative of Engaged For Children Burundi, the Director of Studies of the King's School International - Burundi, the Governor of the province of Rutana, the officials of the school of Gitaba and the local population.

This support will contribute to the development of digital education and reading for 2,055 girls and boys in the surrounding elementary school (Muyovozi, Mika and Gitaba).
